What is a BioMeridian Scan?A BioMeridian Scan is an electrodermal screening. It's a non-invasive testing method that measures the electrical resistance in pathways (meridians) throughout your body.
Each meridian is associated with specific organs and body systems. When energy flows smoothly through these meridians, the body is considered to be in balance and healthy. It is the blockages, abnormalities, and imperfections in this energy flow that BioMeridian Scans look for. The electrical resistance indicated by the scan provides valuable information about your health regarding underlying dysfunction and imbalances. These imbalances may be the root of symptoms, disease, or ailment you are experiencing in your body. Biomeridian Testing can also be utilized to identify subtle imbalances, before they progress into disease, disorder, or physical symptoms. Overall, a BioMeridian Scan provides unique and personalized information of all major organs and systems in your body. Results from the scan help pin-point core health issues, find the best places on the body to make treatment most effective, and where, or in which body systems, additional treatment may be needed. What happens after my initial scan?Dr. Jen will review your results and determine an individualized wellness plan. Why/When should I do a BioMeridian Scan? The results of this scan graph each bodily system and it's capacity to function inside of your body in its current state of health. Many patients come into our office with a particular health goal in mind or existing medical condition they'd like to alleviate. Doing a BioMeridian Scan before beginning a treatment plan or before implementing new healthy lifestyle changes are great ways to monitor progress visually. Generally, after an initial BioMeridian Scan has been completed, another scan should be scheduled a month afterwards. This allows both you and Dr. Jen to compare your progress to your original results. Scans can be done once a month continuously, or before/after a treatment plan to track and monitor progress. Should should I prepare for my scan?
