Root-Cause Lab Testing
Your labs came back normal. You still don't feel like yourself.
Fatigue, brain fog, achiness, and puffiness are not random, and they are not "just aging." They're signals from a nervous system that's overloaded and under-supported. We test what conventional labs miss, so you get real answers instead of another normal result.
See which test fits youSymptoms are signals, not failures
Every one of these is your body communicating, not your body breaking down. Conventional labs are built to catch disease, not to catch dysfunction. That's the gap we test into.
Testing built around your patterns
Every plan starts with data, not guesswork. Choose where to start, or ask us at your consult and we'll point you to the right one.

GI Effects® Comprehensive Profile
A deep stool analysis of digestion, absorption, inflammation, and gut flora balance. The clearest picture available of what's actually driving bloating, irregularity, and immune-related symptoms.
DUTCH Plus
The gold-standard dried urine test for sex hormones, cortisol rhythm, and adrenal patterns, built to explain the fatigue, mood shifts, and sleep issues a standard blood panel usually misses.
3X4 Genetics Test + Blueprint Report
A one-time genetic test that shows how your body handles hormones, detox, and inflammation, so your care plan works with your biology instead of guessing at it.
Metals: Toxic + Nutrient Elements (Hair)
A simple hair sample screens for heavy metal accumulation alongside key mineral levels, revealing exposure and deficiency patterns that quietly mimic hormone and fatigue symptoms for years.
How it works
A clear path from "something's off" to a plan built on your actual data.

Why we test before we guess
I started ordering functional labs because I kept seeing the same thing: women told their bloodwork was normal, while their bodies were clearly telling a different story.
Testing isn't about finding something wrong with you. It's about giving your nervous system, hormones, and gut the specific information they need to actually regulate again, instead of another round of trial and error.

Is this covered by insurance?
No. RHC operates on a cash basis for testing and care plans, which lets us recommend what your body actually needs rather than what a plan will approve. A superbill is available for self-submission where applicable.
Do you work with patients outside Minnesota?
Personalized lab ordering, results interpretation, and care plans are currently available in-person or via Minnesota-based telehealth, for patients physically located in Minnesota at the time of care. This is a licensing requirement, not a preference. If you're outside Minnesota, reach out anyway. We're expanding and can let you know when that changes, or point you toward educational resources in the meantime.
How is this different from my regular labs?
Conventional labs are built to catch disease once it's already present. These panels look further upstream, at the hormone, gut, and toxic-load patterns that often show up as symptoms years before a standard lab flags anything.
Do I have to become a patient to test?
We start with a consult so results are interpreted in context, not handed to you as a page of numbers. From there, it's your choice whether ongoing care makes sense.
How long until I see results?
Lab turnaround varies by panel, typically 1 to 3 weeks. We schedule your results review as soon as they're in, and build your plan from there.
